Jodi, I agree with you about the garlic peeler, I was actually going to devote an entire post to that! Those little papery garlic peels drive me nuts and my peeler makes it so easy. :-)

Kayln, this may be a bigger purchase than we imagined, as I am guessing I would quickly fill my indoor freezer and need to invest in some sort of chest freezer for the garage. Oh, but the convenience and savings of buying in bulk just might win me over!

agree - but it would be so lovely to have the wine dispenser next to the coffee maker and rice cooker. How technically interesting my kitchen would be!

Glad you came to visit!

Great list! I'd never seen that spatula before. I sue my microplane for lemon zest, grating nutmeg, and grating chocolate (it's getting chilly; time for hot chocolate!). One of my other favorites (not included here), is a garlic peeler (about $8 at Amazon).

I just can't say enough good things about the Foodsaver! It will actually pay for itself because you can buy meat and cheese in bulk. The meat will last for years in the freezer, and cheese for at least a year in the fridge. It's an amazing machine!

I'm coveting the rice cooker and pepper grinder!

Kalyns last blog post..<a href="http://kalynskitchen.blogspot.com/2008/11/recipe-for-barley-risotto-with.html" rel="nofollow">Recipe for Barley Risotto with Mushrooms and Thyme</a>
