Holiday Monday and the husband wants to run to the store for lunch food for work. Better get this menu plan put together so he can pick up a few things for dinner this week too!
In our box from Fifth Crow Farms we found Artichokes, Carrots, Old Indian Woman dried beans, Little Gem lettuces, Lemon cucumbers, Williams Pride apples, Leeks, Cauliflower, and Fennel. Here is our menu plan for the week of September 2:
Monday: Roast chicken shawarma with carrots and cauliflower, quinoa
Tuesday: Taco Tuesday with King City Pink pot-o-beans (done in the slow cooker while at school, and then transformed into refried beans before dinner)
Thursday: Black cod with leeks and tomatoes, roasted Brussels sprouts, sautéed green beans, brown rice
Friday: Take out and TGIF
