I have a group of friends who enjoy the challenge of trying something new in the kitchen. We gather periodically for cook book dinner club, where we choose a theme or cookbook. This month we chose junior league cookbooks, which offered lots of opportunities to experiment. We cooked from The Junior League Celebration Cookbook, Private Collection: Recipes from the Junior League of Palo Alto, San Francisco A La Carte, and A Taste of Aloha: Recipes from the Junior League of Honolulu.
