Editorial Calendar for NaBloPoMo

Late last night it became clear that unless I put together a calendar of writing plans for the month, I am not going to make it through National Blog Posting Month! Much I like a do a menu plan each week, putting together an editorial calendar will allow me to focus my writing on specific topics and prepare ahead of time to make sure I have everything I need on hand. Some bloggers use them every month, I tend to be a little more spontaneous with my regular writing, but these last few days of scraping together topics at the last minute have encouraged me to seek an alternative.

Here is my writing plan for the rest of the month, in weekly menu-plan style:

Sunday: Family Dinner Plan

Monday: NaBloPoMo writing prompt (made food friendly)

Tuesday: Travel Tuesday – highlights of past trips

Wednesday: Gadget Wednesday

Thursday: Cookie Thursday

Friday: Family favorite recipe highlight

Saturday: Local food spotlight

Wow, getting this all organized feels great! Let me know if I have missed any topic you would like to hear about.

Any newspaper is a collection of news stories, features, editorial and articles. A news story provides hard news. It provides information in a straightforward manner. A feature appeals to the emotions. It covers all kind of topics and provides the information in an interesting and easy-to-read manner. A feature tries to entertain while informing.
