St. Patrick’s Day Menu – Green food

St. Patrick’s Day is next week, and already I am planning my annual dinner. Usually I just go with Corned Beef and Cabbage in the crock pot, but since I have a jump on planning, I was thinking I could be a little more creative and come up with a menu that was even more traditional. Did you know that? Corned Beef and Cabbage is not a traditional dinner in Ireland. Only in Irish-American celebrations of St. Patrick’s Day is Corned Beef and Cabbage featured. So, if I was going to celebrate the holiday with a traditional, Irish-Irish dinner, what would that look like?

Much of my menu plan next week will depend on what is in the freezer. We have just a little lamb left from our purchase last August, might be time to place another order. I know I have two packages of Denver ribs (breast ribs) and a single package of 4 ribs. Might have to place my order quick; we also need lamb for Easter!

What are you going to make for St. Patrick’s Day?
