I just had a Drop In party for my birthday - we did over 250 cookies for a local food pantry. This will be my 4th year doing a Drop In at work. Staff and clients in a brain injury rehab. program love it. Last year we had extra cookies after our planned donation, so I took them to Curves and sold them, then donated the money to a local food pantry.

thanks Ted and Lydia!

And Ted, thanks for your idea, about bringing to the workplace. I did suggest to my husband that it could be a fun thing for his office to do - I even offered to bring all the cookies and decorating stuff! I hope they take me up on the offer.

As my kids get older, I look forward to bringing them into the fold too...

Thanks, Gudrun, for supporting Drop In & Decorate. I am Lydia's husband and I've participated in many events. They're always fun. Last year my company had a wonderful time. Everyone was so proud of their creative decorating.

The third time will be the charm -- though each of your previous Drop In & Decorate events were also the charm! That's the beauty of decorating and donating cookies -- it's always fun, and the families who receive the cookies always love them. Thanks so much for helping to spread the word.
