Thanks for visiting Lydia...

It has taken me a while to appreciate the fun cooking with my daughter can bring. Generally, I cook because I enjoy it, but also because it needs to be done in order to feed my family. Cooking with my daughter causes me to slow WAY down and not rush through a task that needs to be done. I want to say that this has transfered over to other parts of my life, but not quite yet :-)

Cooking with kids is a great way to practice both math and reading skills. I have the best time cooking with my grandkids, especially the two seven-year-olds.

Lydia (The Perfect Pantry)s last blog post..<a href="http://www.theperfectpantry.com/2008/09/agave-nectar-re.html" rel="nofollow">Agave nectar (Recipe: grilled peaches with balsamic and granola)</a>
