Trash-free lunches, what could be better than that. In our house, our Laptop Lunchboxes are a great way to support the environment, while also packing healthy, nutritious and fun-to-look-at lunches. The most recent newsletter from Laptop Lunches has some great recipes, fun pictures and links to other green resources.
I bought our original sets from Lunches.com, and then bought extra inserts through the Laptop Lunches site. That way, I always have one set clean. My other favorite trick is to pack the lunches the night before and stow them in the fridge. In the morning, all I need to do is pull them out, place them in the insulated tote along with the water bottle and an ice pack and we are good to go. Give it a try, you might find your picky kid is eating better than you ever thought!
